DOG
TRAINING
"Mali and her team have been a lifesaver for us on numerous occasions. When we first got our dog Felix, he was 14 months old, he had been left on his own - locked up in a back yard with only very occasional interaction with his owners, let alone with other dogs.
Mali’s help and her approach to training him and for him to become the loyal and loving family member that he has turned into, was amazing.
What we appreciate most about Mali is not just her obvious love for animals, but her professional approach. Leaving my dogs in her care, gives me great peace of mind.
I would recommend her service to anyone!"

Mali has been mad about dogs for all of her life, and considers herself very blessed to have been able to create a successful business working with them. Not long after moving to Australia from her native Canada in 2005, she founded See Spot Run Pty. Ltd. which grew to become one of the largest and most respected dog walking and training businesses in Sydney.
Mali holds a degree from Ryerson University in journalism and is the proud mom to Pickle, the Bichon Friese and Goose and Peanut the Mini Schnauzers.
"I have never had a dog before Ziggy, my Bichon Frise. I was extremely nervous and worried about how “what to do” and how “to get it right”. I needed help!
I did my research and decided Mali the Dog Trainer was for me.
Mali came to my house before I picked up Ziggy, and she spent time talking with me, advising me, and showing me what I needed. She came again when Ziggy arrived to meet Ziggy, answer my questions, talk me though issues, and offer the training, help, and support I needed.
Mali has always been generous with her time – when I have rung her in tears, she has offered solid help and calm advice. I cannot speak highly enough of her expertise, knowledge, intuitiveness, care, and kindness."

Why Choose
Mali The Dog Trainer?
We understand that every dog is different, and that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to dog training. Private consultations are the most effective way to improve behaviour, and our happy clients agree! With over 90% of our new business coming from referrals, it’s clear that we get great results for the dogs and owners we work with.

Here are 3 great reasons to choose Mali The Dog Trainer:
Private Training From An Accredited Expert
We work with you and your dog in a calm, familiar environment, without the distraction of other dogs or the temptation of a new place to explore. With personal attention from a dog behaviour specialist, we can focus on specific issues and solve problems far more effectively than in a group setting.
Address Specific Behavioural Issues
Unlike in group training sessions, we are able to focus our training on specific issues identified by you. Whether your dog doesn’t come when called and struggles to walk at heel, or displays aggressive and dangerous behaviour around other dogs, Mali will use a tailored training technique to suit your pet, and improve their behaviour.
Ongoing Support and Advice
Follow up consultations - either in person or on the phone - are a great way to make sure you stay on track with your training plan. Mali also provides access to video and written resources to support her clients on their training journey.
"I have known Mali for 7 years I first met her at the Puppy School where she helped me train Dash our lemon beagle. I still get comments at the dog park that it's amazing that I have a beagle off leash and that he comes back when called. We also had Mali come to our house for a few training sessions that I think really paid off too. Mali runs an extremely professional friendly service that has been incredibly helpful to our family. I can't recommend her enough."
