I help Sydney dog owners solve behaviour problems and build stronger relationships with their dogs using kind, evidence-based training methods. My goal is to help you understand your dog’s behaviour and provide practical, humane solutions that create lasting results.
I’m a certified professional dog trainer and behaviour consultant with more than 20 years of experience working with pet dogs, including many with fear, anxiety, and aggression issues. I’m proud to be one of only a small number of trainers in Australia to hold both the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers Certified Pet Dog Trainer–Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KSA) and Certified Behaviour Consultant Canine–Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA) credentials.
I regularly attend courses and conferences to stay up to date with the latest developments in dog training and behaviour.

Originally from Canada, I moved to Australia in 2005 and founded See Spot Run, which grew to become one of the largest dog walking and training businesses on Sydney's Lower North Shore.
Before working with dogs full-time, I earned a journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University and worked as a writer. These days, when I’m not training dogs, you’ll usually find me with my own three dogs: Pickle the Bichon Frise, and Goose and Peanut the Miniature Schnauzers.
